1 Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of the Tact Grip website, game and related services ("Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the Services. Additional terms may apply to particular features or services where these terms are clearly made available to you.
2 Game Access and Availability
Tact Grip provides an action gaming experience involving mechanical grappling, combat, skill selection and character progression.
We aim to maintain the availability and functionality of the Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may occasionally be affected by maintenance, updates, technical faults, network interruptions, security incidents or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may update, modify or introduce game features to maintain, improve or balance the game, subject to applicable law and any rights you may have.
3 Your Responsibilities
When using the Services, you agree to:
▪ Use the game and website lawfully and in accordance with these Terms
▪ Provide accurate information when contacting support or submitting transaction-related enquiries
▪ Keep any account credentials or access information secure
▪ Avoid actions that interfere with the normal operation of the game
▪ Respect the intellectual property rights of the game and other rights holders
▪ Avoid fraudulent transactions, payment abuse or attempts to obtain unauthorized benefits
You are responsible for activities carried out through your account or access credentials to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4 Prohibited Conduct
You must not, except where expressly permitted by law or authorized by us:
▪ Cheat, exploit bugs or manipulate game mechanics to obtain an unauthorized advantage
▪ Use bots, scripts, automation tools or unauthorized software to interfere with gameplay
▪ Attempt to bypass security controls or access restricted systems or data
▪ Modify, reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the game software
▪ Copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit the Services without appropriate authorisation
▪ Introduce malicious code or engage in conduct that compromises system security
▪ Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes
▪ Sell, transfer or trade in-game items or account access outside authorized game functionality
We may investigate suspected violations and take reasonable action in response.
5 Accounts and Game Progress
Certain features may require an account or may associate progress with a device or account identifier. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account information and notifying support if you suspect unauthorized access.
Game progress, unlocked content and settings may depend on the game version, account configuration, device storage and available technical functionality.
We do not guarantee that all progress or settings can be recovered following device loss, data corruption, account compromise or other technical issues. This does not limit any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
6 Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the game and its content, including software, artwork, graphics, characters, designs, audio, text, branding and visual elements, remain with the relevant rights holders.
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Services for their intended purpose. This permission does not grant you ownership of the game or its content.
You may not use any part of the Services for commercial purposes, distribute copies or create unauthorized derivative works unless permitted by law or authorized by the relevant rights holder.
7 In-Game Purchases and Digital Content
Tact Grip may offer optional purchases of digital content, including in-game items, resources, upgrades or other game-related features. Purchased content is provided for use within the game and is subject to these Terms.
Virtual items and resources:
▪ Have no real-world monetary value
▪ Cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for real-world goods or services
▪ Cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged outside the game except where expressly supported or permitted
▪ May be subject to game rules, technical limitations and updates
Purchases do not create ownership of the underlying game software or intellectual property. We may adjust the functionality or balance of digital content as part of reasonable game maintenance and updates. Any such changes remain subject to applicable consumer guarantees and other legal obligations.
8 Payment and Transaction Issues
Purchases may be processed through third-party payment service providers.
If a transaction fails, is duplicated or appears unauthorized, please contact support with the relevant transaction reference and a description of the issue.
We may request reasonable information to verify a transaction, investigate a payment issue or assess a refund request. We will not ask you to provide your full payment card number or security code by email.
Refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.
9 Updates, Changes and Discontinuation
We may release updates, fix bugs, change game mechanics, adjust in-game content or discontinue particular features where reasonably necessary.
Where an update or change materially affects access to purchased content, we will consider any applicable contractual obligations and consumer rights. If the Services or a material feature is discontinued, any applicable rights to a refund or other remedy will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
10 Disclaimer and Liability
The Services may occasionally experience errors, interruptions or technical limitations. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, compatible with every device or free from technical defects.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized modifications, misuse of the Services or events outside our reasonable control. This clause does not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Nothing in these Terms permits us to disregard our obligations in relation to purchased digital content or to exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
11 Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to some or all of the Services where reasonably necessary to address serious breaches of these Terms, fraud, security risks, unlawful activity or misuse of the game.
Where appropriate and practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Any action taken under this section remains subject to applicable law and any rights you may have regarding purchased content or access to the Services.
12 Privacy
Information collected through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that certain technical, gameplay and transaction information may be processed for the purposes described in that Policy, subject to applicable law.
13 Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, operational practices or applicable laws. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
Changes will take effect as stated in the revised Terms, subject to applicable legal requirements. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
14 Governing Law and General Provisions
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the applicable laws of the relevant Australian state or territory.
If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.
